Embryonal Tumour Working Group

The Embryonal Tumour group is a multidisciplinary group consisting to name but a few of Paediatric Oncologists, Radiation oncologists, Neurosurgeons, Neuro Psychologists, Neurrdaiologists and Scientists whose purpose it is to develop Europe wide clinical trials for children and young people with Embryonal Tumours and to discuss biological advances which may be incorporate din clinical trials.  The tumours that are focused on are medulloblastoma and Rare Embryonal and Sarcomatous Tumours (REST). There are in addition close links with in particular the quality of survival group and ITCC. There are also a number of subgroups which include looking at treatment strategies at relapse and the use of otoprotective agents. The group engages in active and fruitful discussion around treatment of the above brain tumours and fosters intercountry collaboration to enable the bets treatment for all children with embryonal tumours in Europe.
